Koyeed Children's eStorybook
Welcome to KOYEED’s Children’s eStorybook Library — a cosy reading space created for young children and their families to discover, read and grow together.
Our stories are designed to begin with little ones from around 12 months old, when parents can enjoy reading and exploring the illustrations together with their child. As children grow, the stories can continue to support their developing vocabulary, understanding and enjoyment of reading through the early primary years.
And we’re continuing to grow! Our library is gradually expanding with stories for children up to around 10 years old, allowing young readers to discover new experiences and increasingly rich language as they grow — one story at a time.
Chipping™ eStorybooks are available in English, Chinese, and combined English + Chinese editions. Chinese editions include Pinyin to support pronunciation and Mandarin reading, giving families the flexibility to choose the version that best suits their child — or explore more than one as they grow.
Perfect for bedtime, quiet time, family reading or learning time, Chipping's gentle adventures introduce children to everyday experiences, feelings, family, nature and the world around them — encouraging curiosity and making reading an enjoyable part of their day.
Each story is brought to life with child-friendly illustrations that help young readers connect what they see with what they hear and read. As children become more confident, the combination of stories, pictures and language can help them build vocabulary and strengthen their understanding naturally through reading.
With convenient digital access and an internet connection, story time can travel with you. Whether you’re relaxing at home, visiting family or away on a trip, your child can enjoy their favourite KOYEED stories wherever you go.
Become a member today and open the door to a growing world of stories, language and discovery.
New stories will be added regularly, giving your child something new to discover as the library continues to grow.
Happy reading, and enjoy your story journey with KOYEED!

KOYEED Uses Black‑and‑White Sketches for Early Learners
Our black‑and‑white sketches are thoughtfully chosen to support early childhood development in meaningful ways. Young children respond strongly to high‑contrast visuals, which help their developing eyes focus and recognise shapes more clearly. Simple outlines reduce visual overload, making it easier for little learners to follow the story and understand what they see.
These sketches also encourage imagination. With details filled in, children naturally begin to picture colours, emotions, and scenes on their own — an important part of creative growth. Early exposure to line art strengthens shape recognition and builds confidence in drawing, tracing, and other fine‑motor skills.
In addition, detailed black‑and‑white sketches stimulate cognitive processing through high‑contrast visual cues. Research shows that early learners engage cognitive skills such as perception, memory, symbolic thinking, and spatial understanding when interpreting structured line art. A 2025 empirical study further confirms that children’s drawing development reflects cognitive, emotional, motor, and social processes — and that detailed graphic work aligns naturally with developmental stages.
Every illustration is designed with purpose: to guide young brains, nurture creativity, and make each story both engaging and developmentally supportive. It’s a thoughtful approach that adds real value to your child’s reading experience — and one of the reasons KOYEED’s stories are worth investing in.
